Earlier we reported on conversations between Deep Well Oil and Gas investors regarding the dispute between the company and the Lubicon Lake Indian Nation and the low share price on Deep Well stock.
We drew attention to the racist comments by one Deep Well investor who had clearly been speaking with Deep Well management about the situation.
Since that time, Deep Well investors have taken note of the materials on our web site. Their continued conversation about the Lubicon people is extremely disturbing.
We share it with you here verbatim in order to provide some insight into the mentality of the company shareholders who openly push to bulldoze the Lubicon Nation out of existence solely to drive up Deep Well Oil and Gas share prices. Perhaps this will help people to understand what the Lubicon people are up against.
On May 15th, an anonymous Deep Well investor using the name "Medstar911" posted the following comment on an internet bulletin board called "Bullboards" :
"First of all that Lubicon letter is interesting, the heading being about racism, I never made a racist comment until now. So here it goes lubicon family and friends. First and foremost go stuff yourselfs you government brown bagging heap of dog crap. I hope everyone from DWOG buys your shacks and panties and sells you on ebay to a reserve that can tolerate your miserable existance.
"Being stuck up in north alberta where hell can freeze you over might not be a bad thing at all. I am personally all for DWOG bull-dozing every square inch of your community and any other ignornant fawk who wants to barricade my future investment your moronic dim witted switch!!
"Just because your unemployment cheque wasnt enough last month to cover the plastic bags and gas fumes you needed to inhale, doesnt mean you can sit and squat and block the main roads. Ah crap on it all, someone send a yankee to "accidentally" bomb them. Good ridance!"
Medstar911 followed that with another message saying:
"what is the population of the lubicon nation? if you eliminated everyone of them would it be considered endangered or a blessing to the rest of society? Heck better yet give them 10K a month to work on the drilling sites, that way they can stock up lysol for the rest of the year, and maybe even buy a new vehicle and slam it into a tree within a month! Sounds like a native thing to do. I know the Public Relations officer from DWOG called these first nations people 5th on the human chain when it comes to importance, nothing first about them, perhaps first to win every darwin award possible...."
and a third message saying:
"The Lubicon Crees are a small aboriginal society of about 500 people. Their 10,000 square kilometre traditional territory is located in northern Alberta east of the Peace River and north of Lesser Slave Lake. The Lubicons have not ceded their traditional lands in any legally or historically recognized manner.
"500 filthy maggots are stopping this development, buggers!! at least DWOG did some bulldozing already on their property"
The next day another anonymous Deep Well investor using the name "jwalker2" responded as follows:
"The Lubrions are not new to this. They have delayed, but stopped, other oil and gas companies from moving ahead, and they will not stop DWOG either. We Canadians have a real problem, it is called Native Affairs!. You think the sponsership scandle is bad, they need to kick some royal butt in the Native Affairs end of both the provincal and federal goverment. Natives have special rules, and that is a bunch of crap. The goverment should start looking at today, we all live in this country, and all of our for-fathers hunted the land. I agree with you totally, I would bet that not too many Lubricon's do much more hunting than most of us other guys, that have rules to follow. This is not about hunting, this is about money and they will be paid lots of money.
"We the longs of DWOG are frustrated, but this is going ahead. Look around at the neighbours we have in the Lubricon land, they are all doing well, and we will also. This stock is going to rock, we just have to sit tight for just a little bit longer."
Two days later he wrote:
"talked with DWOG yesterday, I am sure most of the longs did. FINALLY we are going to get some action. Drilling is going to start early June, the native thing is not as bad as we have been lead to believe by the media. For most, at these prices this stock is a bargin. The oil is in place, hasn't gone anywhere, soon this stock will rock!"
While the sentiments expressed by these Deep Well shareholders are nauseating, at least they dont peddle any illusions about their oil sands project being a great benefit to the people of the area.
It would be interesting to know what Deep Well management is telling their shareholders privately and whether Deep Wells Public Relations officer has been reliably quoted by "Medstar911", who said he called First Nations people "5th on the human chain when it comes to importance".
